“Olde Home Day” is this Saturday, August 13th

Come on down to the newly restored Downtown Newmarket for a day full of great music, great food, and did we mention beer and oysters????

There will be music on the waterfront and on the bandstand.

Main St will be closed to vehicle traffic from 10am to 11pm so plan accordingly.

The day opens with a pancake breakfast at the Community Church at 8am.

Then the Lamprey Health Care Annual 5K leaves the Community Center @ 8:30am.

There will the usual farmers market up the road at Carpenter’s Greenhouse from 9am to 1pm.

Main St activities begin at 11am and go on until 9am with Bluegrass Jam kicking off the music on the Bandstand.

The complete music schedule includes Chippy and the YaYas playing on the Bandstand, and over at the Waterfront Stage All Together Now and Johnny & the Two-timers perform.

The evening closes with a performance by local favorites The Spectras playing on the Bandstand from 7pm to 9pm and then fireworks return to Olde Home Day at 9:30.
